Electric Boat Tahoe

Electric Boat Charging

Homewood High & Dry Marina continues to set the standard for sustainable boating on Lake Tahoe by making our high-powered electric boat chargers available for general public boat charging.

On Water Charging Equipment

Our marina is equipped with two advanced 100kW Level 3 Fast DC Chargers with CCS1 couplers, capable of delivering up to 200kW of power. This infrastructure allows for the simultaneous charging of two boats at 100kW each or a single boat at an impressive 200kW, making us the go-to destination for electric boating on the lake.

Note there is no after hours, overnight or mooring available at the Level 3 Chargers in the harbor. View our hours here.

Land Charging

Electric boat charging is also available on land at our Marina. Land charging can take place via trailer or in dry rack. Our land charging equipment features Level 2 Chargers with 48-AMP and J1772 couplers. This is typically over night charge for most boats and requires short-term boat storage.

Using the Boat Charging Stations

To use our robust charging facilities charging needs to be pre scheduled by day, time and duration. Boat owners must complete a simple inquiry and registration form below. This helps us understand more about your boat and provides a seamless and efficient charging experience when you are onsite.

While charging, you are essentially renting a boat storage space in our harbor or on land. Once we receive your inquiry form our team will reach out regarding fees.

Location

Our public charging stations are conveniently located inside our harbor and accessible by water only. Homewood High & Dry Marina is located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe about 15 minutes south of Tahoe City by boat.
