Meet the team behind the day to day operations at the Homewood High & Dry Marina. Our team knows that we provide more than boat storage – we provide a gateway to Tahoe and look forward to getting you out on the water each day!
The marina’s team also consists of a crew of dockhands each summer including Hana, Jake and Annika. The crew helps customers fill up gas, take boat covers on and off, and assist customers with any other questions they might have. Mainly you will find the dockhands enjoy being around boats and on the water all summer!
Meet Jason Hall the Assistant Operations Manager for the Homewood High & Dry Marina. Jason moved from Auburn, California to Lake Tahoe in 2000. He has been with the marina for 4 years now and helps in a variety of aspects of the business, with the main goal of getting the customers onto the lake safely and efficiently. Jason’s favorite part of working at the marina is being on the water every day.
Meet Hank Baker the Service Manager at the Homewood High & Dry Marina. Originally moving to Tahoe with the goal of working on boats in the summer and skiing in the winter, Hank has been in the boating industry and servicing boats for 32 years. Hank oversees the service department directly connecting with customers to make sure they receive the best service possible, from start to finish. Hanks attends a PCM service technician seminar each year and is a PCM certified technician.
Meet Jason Hennessey, the Operations Manager at the Homewood High & Dry Marina. Jason is originally from upstate New York and moved to Lake Tahoe 13 years ago. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the marina, making sure boats are ready for customers, launching and hauling is on schedule, and working with guests to provide the best experience possible. When Jason isn’t on the water working, you will find him on the water enjoying Tahoe with family and friends.
Meet David Topol, the Director of the Homewood High & Dry Marina. David is originally from Lake Tahoe had has resided here most of his life. He oversees all marina operations with customer and employee safety as the top priority. He enjoys getting people out on the water and providing a service that connects customers to Lake Tahoe.
David’s family legacy goes back to the beginning of the marina. The Topol family greatly impacted Tahoe’s west shore and molded the business into what it is today. In 1977, David’s father, Nate Topol purchased a swath of lakefront property that included the Homewood High & Dry Marina and the neighboring motel, over the next few decades he began developing the property into a destination area.
